Vectra 3D is a monthly topical treatment formulated to repel and kill fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and other external parasites on dogs. Thanks to its easy-to-apply, quick-drying, fragrance-free, non-greasy, and waterproof solution, protecting your dog from pests doesn’t have to be a struggle anymore.

The fast-acting treatment repels and kills external parasites before they can attach to the dog’s body, meaning they don’t need to bite your dog to die. Limited flea feeding reduces the likelihood of health problems like anemia, irritation, flea allergies, dermatitis, and disease transmission.

How quickly does Vectra 3D Topical work?

Vectra 3D begins to stop fleas from biting in just 5 minutes. It is highly effective in killing fleas and ticks and kills fleas on dogs in 4 hours. It also knocks down ticks quickly after administration.

How does Vectra 3D for Dogs work?

Formulated by Ceva Animal Health, Vectra 3D contains dinotefuran, pyriproxyfen, and permethrin as active ingredients. The triple-action formula works to kill fleas and ticks through contact and repels them to prevent them from attaching to your dog. Once the parasites land on your dog, they are exposed to the active ingredients, and the more they move across the coat or skin to find a spot to bite, the more they are exposed and affected.

Vectra 3D works on ticks by causing a “hot-foot” reaction. Ticks have sensors in their legs that are very sensitive to permethrin, making them run off the dog (hot foot effect). They are physically compelled to crawl back up the fur, away from the skin, without biting.

In fleas, Vectra 3D quickly interferes with the feeding behavior. Fleas begin to stop feeding within 5 minutes on the treated dogs and start falling off the dog without possible recovery.

Important notes:

Vectra 3D becomes waterproof after bathing and swimming 24 hours after application.
This product is not a substitute for heartworm prevention.

How To Use

Directions for Use:

Ensure that your dog is dry before application.
Remove the applicator tube from the package.
Hold the tube upright, pointing away from the face.
Place the thumb and index finger around the applicator tip under the large disk.
With the other hand, get hold of the applicator stem above the smaller disk.
Press the smaller disk down firmly until both disks meet, piercing the seal.
Part the dog’s hair at the base of the tail.
Start applying the solution from the base of the tail all the way up to the shoulder blades in a continuous line.
Repeat every month or as advised by your vet.
