DAP Spray for dogs

The DAP Spray, manufactured by Ceva, helps to control and prevent fear-related anxiety disorders in dogs and puppies with its active canine appeasing pheromone. Used for both inside and outside the home, it helps dogs and puppies to adjust to brand new environments such as new homes, dog kennels or strangers, as well as exposure to new or unpredictable circumstances that might normally cause anxiety for the dog. The easy-to use DAP Spray lasts for up to 4 weeks, and it will cover an area of up to 50-70 square meters.

For optimal results, combine the DAP Collar with DAP Spray, also available at

Key Benefits

DAP Spray helps control your dog's fear of unfamiliar surroundings and circumstances.

The D.A.P. spray can be used in both inside and outside the home environment when your dog is exposed to situations that may make him nervous.

Its effective pheromone will help to prevent fear for various circumstances, including:

  • Adjusting to a new home, kennel, shelters or meeting strangers
  • Visiting a veterinary surgeon or hospital
  • New or unpredictable situations
  • Destruction or inappropriate toileting
  • Excess barking, whimpering or whining
  • Salivation, vomiting or panting
How To Use
  • Remove the DAP Spray from the packaging and place in an appropriate room.
  • The pheromone will disperse into the air to appease and calm your dog.
  • The spray can be fitted with a refill containing 48ml of contents, also available below.
  • There are no major safety precautions to be taken when using a DAP Spray (dog appeasing pheromone).
  • The spray has an active ingredient (canine appeasing pheromone), therefore do not open the protective packaging until the spray needs to be used on your dog.
  • Pheromones are species' specific and should have no effect on any other pets other than dogs.
  • Research has shown that the D.A.P. Spray is safe to use on pregnant dogs.
  • Do not allow your pet to lick the spray.
More Information

Dog Appeasing Pheromone (DAP) is a canine phermone spray to simulate the phermone a dog's mother uses when it is young. This spray can be used to comfort stressed animals when there is a change in their environment. The DAP Spray contains an active canine appeasing pheromone (2.5%). These pheromones are identical to the same 'appeasing' pheromones that bitches secrete after they have given birth, and have a calming effect on dogs.

Pheromones are species specific and no effect on pets other than dogs is to be expected.

No stress Jul 22, 2019

Adaptil solves everything. Very thankful for this one. Easier to apply and makes my dog happy and relaxed. Not your typical flea control, since it also removes worms and protects your dogs from heart worms. Really a great value.

An amazingly effective product Jan 18, 2017

My 3 year old Labrador used to tear up his bedding due to separation anxiety when I left for job. But after using this product, it has been several months since I have purchased a new bed for my furry pal. A highly recommended product!!
