Advantage Flea Treatment

Advantage Flea Treatment provides fast and effective relief for dogs suffering from flea infestations. This easy-to-use topical spot-on solution is applied once a month to help protect your pet from adult fleas.The active ingredients begin working quickly, helping stop flea bites within 3 to 5 minutes and killing adult fleas and larvae within 20 minutes of application. Advantage works through contact, meaning fleas do not need to bite your dog to be affected. This convenient treatment is suitable for use on adult dogs and puppies, helping keep them comfortable and protected from fleas.

How To Use

Advantage for Dogs is available in four different color-coded packs:

Green pack: For small dogs and puppies weighing between 1–10 lbs
Aqua pack: For medium-sized dogs weighing between 11–20 lbs
Red pack: For large dogs weighing between 21–55 lbs
Blue pack: For extra-large dogs weighing over 55 lbs

First, weigh your pet and select the appropriate pack according to its weight.
Keep your dog in an upright position.
Part the fur between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
Place the tube opening directly on the exposed skin and squeeze out the entire contents in one spot until the tube is empty.
For small dogs, apply the treatment at a single spot.
For larger dogs, apply the treatment at 4–5 spots along the backbone up to the base of the tail.
Allow the application site to dry completely.
Apply the treatment once a month, preferably on the same date each month.

Safety

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after administering the treatment.
Keep children and other pets away from the treated dog until the application site is completely dry.
Avoid contact with the pet’s eyes and mouth while applying the product.
Store the product in a cool place at room temperature (below 30°C).

More Information

Advantage Spot-On for Dogs contains imidacloprid, an insecticide that helps protect dogs from painful flea bites and assists in the treatment of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD). It is a waterproof treatment that remains effective even if your dog bathes or swims. This product is recommended for puppies and dogs that are at least 8 weeks of age and is considered safe for puppies, lactating dogs, and pregnant dogs when used as directed.
