Advantage Multi Aqua is a broad-spectrum parasite protection treatment designed for medium-sized dogs. Formulated with imidacloprid and moxidectin, this topical treatment protects against multiple internal and external parasites while helping prevent heartworm disease. How Does Advantage Multi for Dogs Work?

Advantage Multi for Dogs (9.1–20 lbs) contains two active ingredients: imidacloprid and moxidectin. After application, imidacloprid spreads across the skin and coat to kill fleas and mange mites on contact. Moxidectin works systemically inside the dog’s body to help prevent heartworm disease and treat intestinal worms such as roundworms, whipworms, and hookworms.

Important Notes :

Do not administer this product orally.
Use with caution in Collies, Collie crosses, and other avermectin-sensitive dogs. Consult your veterinarian before use.
The safe use of Advantage Multi for Dogs has not been established in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs.
Dogs should be tested for heartworms before starting treatment with this product.

How To Use

Advantage Multi for Dogs is applied topically as a spot-on treatment.
Weigh your pet and select the appropriate pack size according to your dog’s weight.
Allow your dog to stand in one position.
Twist the cap of the tube to break the seal, then remove the cap.
Part the hair on the back of the dog between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
Place the tip of the tube directly on the skin and squeeze the pipette until the entire contents are emptied.
For dogs weighing 20 lbs or less, apply the entire contents at one spot between the shoulder blades.
For dogs weighing more than 20 lbs, apply the entire contents at 3 or 4 spots along the backline from the base of the neck to the upper back in an area that the dog cannot lick.
Do not apply too much solution at one location that could cause it to run down the sides of the dog.
Do not touch the treated area until it has completely dried.
Prevent dogs from licking the application site for at least 30 minutes.
Apply the treatment once a month, preferably on the same date each month.
The treatment remains effective after shampooing, swimming, or exposure to rain. Shampooing or water immersion 4 days after treatment will not reduce its effectiveness against fleas.
If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember and continue with the regular monthly schedule. Monthly applications are especially important for heartworm prevention.
