Simparica Chewable is uniquely formulated to protect dogs from fleas and ticks for 35 days. This great-tasting, flavored chewable treatment is easy to administer and starts killing fleas and ticks fast, helping in the prevention of flea and tick infestations. It has been shown to begin killing fleas after 3 hours of administration and reduce the number of live fleas by more than 96% within just 8 hours of flea infestation.

It is the first flea and tick preventative for dogs that kills 6 types of ticks, including the American dog tick, black-legged tick, lone star tick, brown dog tick, Gulf Coast tick, and Asian long horned tick. It also blocks infections that may cause Lyme disease by killing vector deer ticks. Moreover, it has been shown to kill more than 99% of ticks within 48 hours of administration.

Simparica for Dogs contains sarolaner, an acaricide and insecticide belonging to the isoxazoline group. Sarolaner interferes with the functioning of the nervous system of insects, resulting in uncontrolled neuromuscular activity and leading to death in insects or acarines. Simparica Flea & Tick Chewables are safe for administration to dogs over 6 months of age and weighing 2.8 lbs or greater.

How To Use

Treatment with Simparica may begin at any time of the year. In areas where fleas are common year-round, monthly treatment with Simparica can continue the entire year without interruption.
Give one chewable per month to the dog.
Administer it orally in the dog's mouth or mix it in the dog food.
When mixing it in their food, make sure that the dog completes his entire meal.
Monitor your dog to ensure that part of the dose is not lost or refused.
If you feel that any dose has been lost, then re-dose as required.
If a dose is missed, administer Simparica and resume a monthly dosing schedule.
