Drontal allwormer is one of the most effective deworming treatments for intestinal worms in cats. It treats intestinal worms such as tapeworms, hookworms, and roundworms very efficiently. The product also helps in preventing future re-infestations as well. Moreover, Drontal tablets are very easy to administer and are extremely safe to be given to all breeds of cats and kittens over 8 weeks of age.

How to Use

Drontal is available in 2 pack sizes - Drontal for small cats and Drontal for large cats.
Weigh your kitty and then select the appropriate pack size.
You can administer the tablet directly in the mouth of the cat.
If the cat resists, then you can mix it in her food.

Dosage:

For cats weighing between 1.5 to 1.9 lbs - 1/4 tablet
For cats weighing between 2 to 3 lbs - 1/2 tablet
For cats weighing between 4 to 8 lbs - 1 tablet
For cats weighing between 9 to 12 lbs - 1 & 1/2 tablet
For cats weighing between 13 to 16 lbs - 2 tablets

(Note: For adult cats, administer one tablet per 9 lbs of bodyweight every 3 months)

Safety

After administering the treatment, wash your hands properly with soap and water.
This treatment is strictly for cats and no other animal species.
Not to be given to kittens younger than eight weeks.
Do not overdose the cat.

Bayer Drontal Broad Spectrum Dewormer

Drontal cat dewormer aids in controlling different types of gastrointestinal worms in cats including, roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms. This treatment is made up of three active ingredients - Praziquantel, Pyrantel embonate, and Febantel. Praziquantel works by internally impairing the skin of the parasite. This makes the parasite disintegrates and gets rid of them. Pyrantel embonate works against hookworms and ascarids and acts as a blocking agent thereby, paralyzing the parasites. Febantel works against intestinal worms. Thus, the combination of all three ingredients results in the total destruction of all these worms.
