How does Selehold for Dogs work?

Selehold Spot-on contains selamectin as its active ingredient. Selamectin is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic ingredient that interferes with chloride channel conductance in parasites, resulting in disruption of normal neurotransmission. This causes paralysis and death of the parasites.

Important notes:

The product is not effective against adult Dirofilaria immitis. Dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections before beginning treatment with Selehold.
Keep treated pets away from fire and other sources of ignition for at least 30 minutes or until the hair coat is dry.

How to Use

Weigh your dog before treatment and select the appropriate pack size accordingly.
Remove one pipette from the package before use.
Hold the pipette upright and remove the cap.
Part the hair at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
Place the tip of the pipette directly on the skin and squeeze firmly to empty the contents in one spot.
Do not massage the product into the skin.
Allow the application area to dry naturally after treatment.
Apply once monthly for continuous parasite protection.
