10 Oldest Dogs in World Records: Longest Living Dogs in History

Oldest Dogs to have ever lived

As dog parents, we’d always want our beloved canine companions to remain with us for the longest time. Though the average lifespan of a dog is 10 years, certain dogs hold records of outliving the average lifespan by many years. Some dogs have even lived for more than three decades, which is unbelievably long for any dog.

According to studies, typically dogs of smaller breeds tend to live longer, but records have shown that some of the oldest dogs in the world were medium-sized. Be it, the dogs’ genetics, lifestyle, good care, or pure luck, the following are those dogs that have lived for the maximum number of years in the world. Let’s have a look at them one by one.
