Question from Catherine Cox

Stewie & Kitty Boy

Black/white Long Hair & Yellow Short Hair, age ?

Our vet just recommending alternating flee products to add Advantage with the Revolution every other month. What is the difference between Advantage and Advantage II?

Our Vet Says:

Advantage works very well but doesn’t give protection against heartworm. The difference between Advantage and Advantage II are the active ingredients that they contain and the action that they have. Advantage II contains imidacloprid and PyriproxyfenIGR (Insect Growth Regulator), which breaks the life cycle of the fleas. Advantage works against adult fleas but doesn’t break the life cycle of the fleas.
