Pet medications - Ask a vet a question about your dog or cat

Question from B Etty Lawniczak

recently,I purchased 6 months od Frontline plus for my dog. I am concerned as to weather I received the right dosage. The one I received is for dogs 2-19kg. Is this right for dogs that usually take Frontline Plus in the orange pack?

Our Vet Says:

Dear Betty, I believe the problem is the measure unitsfor weight. You received Frontline for dogs with weight between 2 and 10 kilograms which is equivalent 4.4and 22 lbs (pounds).Mia weighs 16 lbs (as submitted in the information attached to your question)so you have the correct product. Frontline Plus in orange pack is for dogsweighing between 11 and 22 lbs.
