Question from
Lelia V. Browning
My youngest cat, Yaya, has one eye that waters alot, sometimes it is foggy looking, they both get crust in the corners of their eyes. I havve been told to give tehm lysine, what do you think.
Our Vet Says:
It
is possible that the tear duct is blocked and tears are eliminated from the
angle of the internal eye. If the secretion has any colour, it is possible that
it may be infected and you may have to administer medicine before you can get a
diagnosis. However it is also possible that there is a foreign body in the eye
which is causing the secretion.
My
advice is to go in for a vet consultation for diagnosis and treatment. Please
don’t start any treatment without a diagnosis.
