I just purchased Frontline Plus for my 3 little girls - all long haired Chihuahuas. I haven’t seen any fleas on them but they are scratching like crazy. I’m wondering about applying this product to them and our sleeping arrangements. They all sleep with us and most of the night it’s under the covers. Is this something I should be worried about once I’ve applied this medicine to them?

It is possible that it may not be fleas that are causing the scratching. Another common cause of scratching is diet. If what they are eating isn’t suitable for your dogs this can cause a skin condition and the dogs will start scratching because of this. It is very important for your dogs to have flea protection all the time and after this has been given and if there is no improvement, then it is likely that the problem is a result of their diet. To answer your question, you should not have any problems with your sleeping arrangements after applying Frontline Plus. Also, all medication has some side effects and it is possible that the scratching is a result of this. Usually the side effects....
