Stronghold: Broad Spectrum Parasitic Protection for Cats

Stronghold is a multi-spectrum, spot on treatment for cats. The product provides long-lasting protection against adult fleas and their juvenile life forms (flea eggs and larvae) for 3 weeks. It also acts as an effective anthelmintic which kills the adult forms of intestinal roundworms (Toxocara cati) and hookworms (Ancyclostoma tubaeformae) in felines. Other than that, this monthly treatment also destroys young heartworms, Dirofilaria immitis and hence protects cats from heartworm disease. Stronghold also kills ear mites, eliminates biting lice infestations and controls Flea Allergy Dermatis.

How To Use

Use as directed on the product label.
Remove the Stronghold pipette from its protective package and hold it upright.
Now puncture the applicator seal by firmly depressing the cap. Remove the cap once the seal is broken.
Part the hair at the base of the cat's neck until the skin is exposed.
Apply the tip of the pipette onto the skin directly without massaging.
Squeeze the pipette firmly to empty the entire content of the pipette at one spot. Avoid contact of the solution to your fingers.

More Information

Stronghold is a potent parasiticide that kills fleas, immature heartworms, roundworms, hookworms, ear mites and biting lice in cats. It contains an active ingredient Selamectin which distributes itself evenly throughout the skin of the animal and traverses to the intestines through the blood stream. Once inside the intestines, the product destroys all the roundworms and hookworms in the gastrointestinal tract.

Stronghold also destroys the circulating microfilaria thus inhibiting the process of maturation of heartworms eventually. Further, the product replenishes and redistributes itself on the animal's skin which then kills the existing flea infestation, existing mites and biting lice as well.
